Simon and Team Hendry's has partnered with Bicycle Network's, Around the Bay. As an event Ambassador Simon will lead out the 135km Geelong to Albert Park ride from Cunningham Pier travelling through the Bellarine Peninsula, across to Sorrento and the Mornington Peninsula before finishing along Melbourne’s iconic Beach Road to the Albert Park finish line.

These rides are for those who have entered and are training for Around the Bay. There will be 2-3 groups, (pending speed) each led by a member of the Hendry's Team.
Meet at Hendry's Geelong at 6.50am for a 7.00am departure, for approx 50-60km loop that will take around 2 hours at a social/medium pace, finishing back at the shop for a coffee, pastry and chat.
Riders should be comfortable sharing the road with other riders and vehicles. Please bring your own spares/tools for fixing flats, water, nutrition and sunscreen.
If you are unable to complete the training ride please have a Plan B (friend or family member to collect you) for getting home. Please note, this is a free ride but registration is essential to ensure ride leaders are aware of expected numbers.
HENDRY'S has been appointed mechanical support at the Geelong and Queenscliff stop overs. Our marquees will be well stocked with all your bike and nutritional requirements and our Teams look forward to assisting you on your journey around the bay.
