Simon Gerrans inducted into the Tour Down Under Hall of Fame

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Santos Tour Down Under launched its inaugural Hall of Fame on Friday to honour and recognise those who have played a vital role in the event’s evolution across its 25-year history.

"To be included in the Santos Tour Down Under’s Hall of Fame would put you in rare company. This shines a light on the stories and endeavours of those who have dedicated so much to making the event what it is today. How fitting, too, for this to be launched in a milestone year.” - Matthew Keenan, 2025 Hall of Fame committee.

Five outstanding and invaluable contributors were named as the inaugural inductees, and we are proud to announce this included our own Simon Gerrans.

Simon competed in 14 editions of the Santos Tour Down Under between 2001 and 2018, during which he was the overall champion on four occasions (2006, 2012, 2014, 2016) and holds the record for the most Santos Tour Down Under General Classification wins of all time.
