Simon Signs on for Around the Bay 2025

Exciting news from Albert Park yesterday where Simon was officially announced as an Ambassador for the 2025 United Energy Around the Bay. The launch event brought together an impressive group, including cycling commentator Matthew Keenan, professional cyclist Sarah Gigante, and AFL greats Alex Fasolo, Ed Curnow, and Nick Riewoldt.

Join Simon on Sunday 26 October for the 135km Geelong to Albert Park ride, travelling through the Bellarine Peninsula, Queenscliff, Sorrento and the Mornington Peninsula.

“It’s fantastic to see Geelong play a key role in United Energy Around the Bay. The 135km Geelong start not only showcases some of Victoria’s best riding but also connects regional and metro riders in a shared celebration of cycling. My business Hendry’s, is a local business and ingrained in the Geelong cycling community so I see firsthand how events like this strengthen our riding culture, inspire participation, and support communities not only in the Geelong area but across the state. This was my first mass participation event as a teenager and I loved it, and now I have my family involved as well”. - Simon Gerrans.
